My images are the world as I see it—whether a place
we see every day frozen in time or a beautiful flower that I may take many photographs of, because every time I look at it,
I see something else so beautiful within it that I am compelled to capture.
It is very difficult for me to attribute
my work to a particular style as I feel I am constantly evolving, keeping my old style but adding new styles to it. With a
few exceptions (like in the “At the Fair” series where I deliberately tried to portray the bright, colorful world
of the fair), I am a purist, printing the images exactly as they appear to me in the camera, with no manipulation of the image.
It
is my hope that my work brings the same happiness to others as it did to me when I was creating it.
